Bishop Neil C. Ellis’s journey began on the shores of Bimini, where as a young boy he delivered a speech before Prime Minister Sir Lynden Pindling — a moment that ignited his lifelong calling. Soon after, he was adopted by Frank and Sharon Wilson, loving foster parents who believed deeply in his potential. Frankie Wilson, a member of the legendary Sunshine Boys, and his wife Sharon invested in Neil’s future, moving him to Nassau and helping lay the foundation for the man he would become.

Their continued love and support — together with the unwavering encouragement of Neil’s birth family — have fueled every milestone of his journey. Now, Bishop Ellis and his wife, Patrice, are honoring that investment by pouring back into his hometown. Through full scholarships awarded to outstanding young scholars and student speakers from Bimini, they are opening the door for others to attend high school in Nassau and unlock their own destinies.
