Get In The Right Room

One of the most important decisions you’ll ever make is where you allow yourself to grow.
You need to be in an environment where growth is welcomed, not resented.
Where success is celebrated, not sabotaged.
Where vision is nurtured, not treated like a disease.

Not every room is healthy for your next level.
There are environments, even church circles, friend groups,
and family systems, where the moment you start to grow, people
start to shift.
They stop clapping.
They start whispering.
They go silent in public but loud in private.
They say things like, “You’ve changed.”
But the truth is: you’ve grown and they just stayed the same.

These environments are dangerous.
Because instead of helping you rise, they try to shrink you back into the version they’re comfortable with.
But when God is growing you… when He’s expanding your capacity… when He’s calling you to wealth, impact, influence, and legacy…
You cannot afford to stay in rooms that resent your calling.

You need to be surrounded by people who look at your bold steps and say, “That’s not enough. Go further. Go bigger. God’s hand is on you.”
You don’t need haters around you; you need stretchers.
People who challenge you to think broader.
People who pray over your growth, not gossip about it.
People who refuse to let you play small.

Because here’s the naked truth: greatness requires the right atmosphere.
In the wrong atmosphere, even a healthy seed will wither.
But in the right room, what’s been dormant in you will come alive.

So ask yourself: “who’s in my room?”
Are they helping me grow or keeping me contained?
Proverbs 13:20 — “Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.”
